The journal uses generous body text, strong contrast, visible link styles, and responsive layouts. The main navigation has a labeled mobile menu, and a skip link leads directly to the main content. The Aa control increases article text size.
Other ways to find a page
The review and guide lists include labeled search. Article contents link to the headings in the chapter. The footer exposes the source register, policy pages, and sitemap, so important material is not available only through a decorative element.
Visual identity
The design uses typography and decorative graphic forms. It does not depict patients, clinicians, or treatment results. Information needed to compare a product appears as text, and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
What our checks cover
We check representative pages at narrow mobile, standard mobile, and desktop widths, along with keyboard-reachable controls and automated accessibility rules. Those checks do not guarantee compatibility with every device or assistive technology. Browser zoom and text controls remain available.
External pages
Provider sites and source documents have their own layouts and accessibility practices. If a source format is difficult to use, the journal’s source notes summarize its role and limitations without claiming to replace the original record.
